CALIBRATION
Portable Calibration Equipment
Here is an easy way to verify or calibrate sensors connected to chart recorders, panel meters or control systems. Our portable system includes a high-accuracy secondary standard, monitor, and dry well to help you maintain temperature sensors (RTDs, thermistors or thermocouples) throughout your plant. |

This system consists of three components. The FTM -100 field temperature monitor provides NIST-traceable readings to measure absolute temperature. It displays temperatures from -200 to 962°C with accuracy to 0.006°C. Combine the FTM -100 with a secondary standard and one of two field temperature dry wells to assemble a complete system. The two dry well references provide a range from -10 to 122°C or 33 to 350°C. A battery option further enhances system portability.

From incubators to freezers, the FTM-100 Temperature Monitor provides NIST-traceable readings to check your temperature processes. Using a GE Kaye secondary temperature standard, the unit displays temperatures from -183 to 420°C in °C, °F, K and resistance in ohms. Its small size, high accuracy, and wide temperature range, make the FTM-100 a versatile tool to take anywhere. |
A Secondary Temperature Standard combined with the FTM-100 makes a durable and NIST-traceable measurement system. The 100-ohm RTDs are constructed using an Inconel 600 sheath with a 3/16-inch diameter and are available in 6 or 9 inch lengths. Total system accuracy of these probes with the FTM -100 is 0.024 to 0.041°C depending on the temperature range.
For work in the temperature range of -10 to 122°C, the FTR - 122 Field Temperature Reference dry-well is ideal. Highly portable at only 3.25 inches high and 6 inches wide, it is NIST-traceable with a stability of 0.2°C and a uniformity of 0.1°C. A battery pack option is available for up to 4 hours of field use. The FTR-122 has two wells -- one for the traceable standard (from FTM-100 thermometer) and one for the sensor being calibrated. The 1/2-inch diameter wells accept standard insert s from 1/16" to 7/16". |

For higher temperature applications, the FTR -350 Field Temperature Reference operates from 25 to 350°C. This fast-response unit reaches its maximum temperature in 12 minutes. The unit has a stability of 0.1°C and a uniformity of 0.1°C in the smaller wells and 0.4°C in the largest diameter wells. The FTR-350 also has terminal connections for checking thermal switches for actuation testing. At six pounds, it's also highly portable. |
